The on-site repair of the heater in a production plant was carried out in its installed state and took place during the customer’s summer repair break in 2019.

The repair included dismantling the existing heat exchanger pipes and pipe plates and installing new pipes and pipe plates, including a subsequent pressure test. The particularly challenging aspect here was carrying out the work under difficult spatial and time-limited conditions. EBNER also supplied all the spare parts required for the repair work. By the way, the production plant at the potash producer was supplied by EBNER.

A criterion for the customer’s satisfaction was the fact that EBNER was subsequently commissioned to repair three further heaters in the plant in the same way. These orders were also carried out by EBNER in compliance with the customer’s specifications and with the usual high quality standard.
