In 2014 EBNER received an order from a well-known German manufacturer of technical building materials made of bitumen for the supply of a total of 7 agitators for the mixing plant of a new roofing factory in Austria.
Manufacture, delivery and erection of agitation vessels
All agitators were equipped with the appropriate drive units and supplied in different sizes (12 m3,15 m3 and 20 m3 volume) as well as with different agitators for the most diverse mixing tasks.
All agitators are made of carbon steel and have a semi-pipe coil on the bottom and shell side of the vessels for heating the bitumen and the mixed fillers with thermal oil.
However, the scope of supply did not only include the agitators.
At the customer’s request, EBNER also created the overall plant layout in 3D for planning all relevant trades, including the customer-supplied trade, such as screw conveyors and siefer mills. The customer also placed an order with EBNER for the delivery of the steel construction (including stairs, gratings and railings), the vessel insulation, as well as the supply of a switch cabinet with measuring and control technology for the control of the subsystem and integration into the customer’s control of the entire system. Last but not least, EBNER also took over the complete mechanical and electro-technical on-site assembly including start-up and handover to the longstanding satisfied customer.
