In December 2018, EBNER receives an order for the project planning and execution of a 3-stage evaporation crystallization plant with downstream 1-stage final concentration. The extracted salt represents a waste material in this process, as the main objective of the plant is the concentration of the solution. This solution is sprayed onto a salt and dried in the later part of the plant not designed by EBNER. This creates a road salt with special properties.
EBNER was awarded the contract for this project primarily for the sophisticated plant circuitry, which, in addition to a particularly energy-efficient mode of operation, also exhibits robustness in operation! In particular, the choice of materials proved to be a challenge, since very high ion concentrations are used. In this context, EBNER was able to draw on the experience already gained from previous plants.
